replacing caliper and banjo bolt won't line up?
reciently replaced caliper and reinstalling brake line, but banjo bolt won't line up correctly, I have both copper washers, but still the hole in the banjo bolt wont align with hole in brake line... any tips or tricks to help stop the leaking of brake fluid???
new washers, i just got it on.. its tight, i press the breaks with no leakage... my battery is now dead... so I'll have to wait until later to give it the full test...
They don't have to line up. there is enough gap for the fluid to find it's way into the caliper fromt he line, through the banjo fittine. There is no need to index the bolt to try to line up the holes. Just make sure your copper washers don't leak.
And Doon't over tighten! Banjo Bolts are easy to break!
