Which fitting is best for Pex?
I researched here and the web for which fitting is best to use for attaching Pex. I'm insure if I like Qest. I read where the stainless clamps don't always have a 360 degree bond where the copper rings do, but some say the copper will corrode. I'm thinking it won't if it's in the wall or ceiling. Which fittings do you prefer? I am quite mechanical in the house restoration and automotive fields, but I'm new to the World Of Pex! Thanks for your input! !
Sharkbite is a little expensive! I did read where it is VERY useful in areas where one can't reach very easily. I can see Sharkbite being useful there.
Copper has been used for many, many years for pipes, why would it corrode? I like the copper rings, the tool can be rented or purchased for about $60 for single size. The Qest system seems lame to me. The shark bite fittings are very expensive, ok for very small jobs.
