What can i put on textured walls in bathroom to keeps moisture out?
What can i put on wall's in bathroom after its textured, but before it gets painted to keep moisture out. There is a fan, but i put up the regular sheet rock.
There are special paints specifically designed for this problem. Sheetrock must be primed before it is painted, and KILZ2 makes some excellent primer products. Be sure the paint is labeled for kitchens & baths, since it is a high moisture area. My son has NO fan in an interior bath, and the special bathroom paint is holding up incredibly well. Be sure to seal all edges in corners & wall/ceiling, so moisture can't creep under, use painters caulk since it can be painted.
