Top Reasons Why Traffic Doors Are Necessary
Whether you are running a restaurant, a retail store, a food processing plant or any industrial building definitely you will have a good use for traffic doors. These doors can help speed things up with movement of your people and products from one room to another, without the need to use a door knob or any device to open the door. In simpler terms, just bump the door and you are good to go.
As already mentioned, a traffic door will not require you to stop and move a knob just to pass through. You bump it and you are free to go. But not only that, it can also prevent contamination of highly perishable or delicate goods like foods in a cold storage facility. Because even though your crew will need a door that can be easily opened, it should also be very effective in preventing contaminants like dust and insects from getting into that room.
For the purpose of opening and closing the doors, there are many kinds of mechanisms that can be installed on it but the typical ones are electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic. On the other hand, it will cost you less to spend on manually opened doors, the type that relies most on just the hinges for its movement. It will also cost less to have it repaired in the future.
