THE CLICKING ON MY STOVE DOESN'T STOP?

I HAVE A PEERLESS -PREMIER STOVE.....whenever i plud it in, it starts the clicking noise for the ignitors.
i replaced the ignitot module, and it is still doing it.
all burners light if i turn the switches on....the burners work fine the oven works great.
my stove top is a sealed top...there are bolts to remove but, it seems to be a bit difficult....and really dont see anything that i would have to change.....i noticed a white circular cap on the back of the stove...where wires go in/.out of....i mean...should i change that as well?
as i say all the ignitors work as soon as i plug in..... BUT THAT DONT STOP!!!!!!!!!!! would appreciate any consult...thank you much

Hey Mario.
This is a simple fix to your problem. First you must understand why it happens
When you push in the knob and turn on the gas, you also set a switch that tells the ignition to function. You will have five of these switches, four for the burners and one for the oven (six if you have a grill), and any one will cause the ignition to function to all the burners. Obviously, only that burner that is allowed gas will actually light, but all the burners get the spark.

You will have first to take off the top cover and look at the ignition switches that are part of the gas knob (on the inside, obviously). One of these switches will be closed causing your problem. The reasons why the switch is closed can only be determined by visual inspection and I cannot speculate here. When you find the offending terminal, prize apart that terminal and clean with a nail file the terminal. Smear tiny amount of petroleum jelly on the terminal and test the unit.

You should now be good to go.
