Shim the striker plate. This is the metal piece attached to the frame. Remove it and shim it so there is very little tolerance between it and the door.

The only reason a credit card is able to get in there is because of the radius on the back of the plunger and the gap between the door and the jam. Decrease the gap so that it is past the radius on the back of the plunger and your problem is solved.
